STEVE BENITEZ

EO Philippines member since 2004, Global Board Director

During his two-decades of membership, Entrepreneur Steve Benitez has served in a variety of leadership positions for Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) from both his local chapter in the Philippines and for the global organization. Steve ascended to the role of chapter president for EO Philippines from 2014-2015, before becoming Global Learning Director in 2015-2016, Member Products Director from 2019-2021, and EO’s Asia Pacific Regional Chair in 2021-22. He was elected to EO’s Global Board for a three-year term in July 2024.

From one small coffee cart to a chain of more than 160 stores, Steve is the CEO of WS & Landic, Inc and the founder of the Philippines' largest homegrown coffee chain, Bo’s Coffee, with locations in Doha, Qatar, and Dubai. He is an expert in scaling business, franchising, and social entrepreneurship; and his company supports local coffee farmers and creates growth and success for its communities, employees, suppliers, and customers.

When Steve joined EO Philippines in 2004, Bo’s Coffee was a collection of 10 coffee stores. He credits EO with helping him successfully scale that business, and in the process, developing as a leader and businessperson. Since then, he has been named a Top 10 Entrepreneur by Entrepreneurs Magazine, an Ernst and Young EOY finalist, and Entrepreneur of the Year by the Cebu Chamber of Commerce. The award that has meant the most to Steve is the Trust and

Respect award presented to him by his EO Philippines chapter peers. He says that EO has made him “dream bigger” and emboldened him to push his limits while surrounded by people who inspire him.

Steve currently lives in Manila, Philippines with his wife, Geraldine, where they are raising three children.
