TED Talks have gradually become a fruitful new resource for entrepreneurs, marketeers and financiers and many have benefited from discovering inspirational talks from speakers. This TED Talk may not guarantee immediate success but will certainly inspire you to make important changes for your business.
Elizabeth Gilbert’s “Success, Failure, and the Drive to Keep Creating”
Elizabeth is a best-selling author known primarily for her book Eat, Pray, Love. In her talk, she discusses how to bounce back from failure and success and offers her insights into productivity and creative output. She uses a personal story to explain how she struggled to do this after the success of Eat, Pray, Love, but also how she had similar feelings when she was failing to find a publisher. She suggests that whichever way you go you have to be able to find your way home to what you love again in order to continue working. “I will always be safe from the random hurricanes of outcome as long as I never forget where I rightfully live.”
Elizabeth’s humble and egalitarian approach, where she applies the same methods to famous authors and budding entrepreneurs, helps her build a deeper connection with her audience and makes her advice accessible for all; a top tip in public speaking.
