This Ingenious Business Isn’t “For the Birds”
September 9, 2015
Each Wednesday in September, we’ll be spotlighting innovation within GSEA, the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. This week, we’re giving a huge shout-out to Steiner Henkses, the 2015 GSEA winner and CEO of Bird Control Group. His business helps protect nature from commercial activities – specifically, Bird Control Group uses benign lasers to keep birds at a safe distance from man-made machinery and equipment.
With clients around the world, continuing research and two innovative brands, Agrilaser and Aerolaser, Henkses is leading the way for many future businesses. The company is also part of YES!Delft, a high-tech entrepreneur center that mentors starting enterprises and helps them grow into thriving companies.
Henkses is just one of the many talented and innovative entrepreneurs within GSEA. To learn more about the program and its participants, visit the EO GSEA page.
