About EO Merida

About EO Merida

In Merida, tradition is a foundation—not a limit. This vibrant city in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula is known for its rich culture, historic beauty, and unmatched quality of life. But today, it’s also becoming known for something else: a new wave of entrepreneurs who are building boldly and leading with heart. At EO Merida, we are proud to be part of that transformation. Our members represent a diverse mix of industries—real estate, hospitality, construction, tourism, healthcare, education, tech, food and beverage, and creative services. Some are innovating within legacy family businesses that helped shape the region; others are launching fresh ventures designed for national and international growth. What connects us is a shared love for our city—and a commitment to leading with purpose. EO Merida is more than a chapter—it’s a community of trust. Our forums are spaces for open, vulnerable dialogue—about scaling, setbacks, personal growth, and what it really takes to lead. Our learning events reflect the region’s energy and hospitality, with curated experiences that inspire and elevate—from beachside retreats to immersive conversations in the city’s colonial center. Entrepreneurship in Merida means honoring local values while embracing global thinking. The pace is rising. The ecosystem is expanding. And at EO Merida, we support each other in navigating that growth—thoughtfully, strategically, and together. Many of our members are also deeply committed to social and environmental impact—supporting cultural preservation, sustainable development, and community empowerment. In a city built on history, we’re building for the future. At EO Merida, we believe leadership can be grounded and ambitious, warm and driven. We’re growing fast—but with our feet firmly on the ground and our hearts rooted in the community we call home.

"EO is so much bigger than a monthly Forum meeting or a calendar of events. It’s a community that can change the way you lead, the way you run your business, and the way you live your life."

"EO provides an environment for you to work on yourself through the help of others. Without EO, I would not be the leader I am today nor have the perspective I have today."
