About EO Nebraska

About EO Nebraska

In Nebraska, business is built on grit, trust, and long-term thinking. At EO Nebraska, we’re founders who reflect that spirit—entrepreneurs who work hard, think big, and stay grounded in our values. From Omaha to Lincoln and across the Plains, we lead companies that are as resilient as the communities we serve. Our chapter includes leaders from agriculture, construction, logistics, fintech, healthcare, education, real estate, manufacturing, and technology. Some of us are scaling startups with a national vision; others are stewarding multi-generational businesses that have helped define the region’s economy. What we all share is a dedication to building with purpose and a belief in community over competition. EO Nebraska is where entrepreneurial drive meets genuine connection. Our forums are spaces of trust and candor—where founders talk honestly about growth, struggle, family, and leadership. Our learning events combine practical strategy with midwestern hospitality, whether we’re diving into a leadership workshop in downtown Omaha or connecting with global EO members during a retreat on the Sandhills. Doing business in Nebraska may not come with the flash of a coastal city, but it comes with clarity—and room to move. EO Nebraska is where leaders come to sharpen their edge while staying true to who they are. We support each other through growth, transition, and reinvention—because we know success here is rarely overnight, but always earned. We’re also a chapter deeply rooted in impact. Many of our members are mentors, philanthropists, and active contributors to Nebraska’s educational and social initiatives. We believe strong businesses build strong communities—and we lead with that in mind. At EO Nebraska, we grow with intention. We lead with heart. And we’re proud to represent what entrepreneurship looks like in the center of the country: steady, smart, and always forward.

Members Are Talking

EO is the first place I turn to for everything. When life and business are going well, I want to celebrate with my peers. When things get tough, I turn to them for honest perspective and support. EO is both a lifeline in challenging times and a community that makes the good times even more meaningful.

Five years ago, I decided to invest in an EO membership, and it has been one of the most rewarding investments I've ever made. EO has challenged me to grow as a leader, a business owner, and a person. The people I've met have broadened my perspective, encouraged me to think bigger, and given me opportunities I never imagined. Today, I lead my business with greater confidence and intention, and I think differently not only about success, but about the impact and legacy I want to create.

Before joining EO Nebraska, I thought entrepreneurship was something you had to figure out on your own. EO completely changed that. Being surrounded by entrepreneurs who understand the highs and lows of business ownership has been invaluable. It’s a community where people genuinely want to see each other succeed while challenging one another to become better business owners and better people. EO also opened my eyes to the incredible entrepreneurs right here in Nebraska. I now see our state as home to some of the most innovative, generous, and inspiring business owners anywhere. The relationships I’ve built have become lifelong friendships, trusted advisors, and a constant source of encouragement. Serving in leadership with EO Nebraska, ultimately as President, helped me grow in ways I never expected. The challenges sharpened my leadership skills and made me a better leader in my own businesses. EO has reminded me that success isn’t just about building a great business; it’s about building a meaningful life alongside people who genuinely want to see you thrive. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of EO Nebraska and can’t imagine my entrepreneurial journey without it.

EO Nebraska has been an invaluable part of my journey as a business owner over the past four years. Although I had been familiar with EO and attended its events for nearly 20 years, becoming a member has exceeded my expectations. EO has provided the ideal environment to discuss the unique challenges of business ownership with peers who truly understand them. The opportunity to learn from and build relationships with fellow entrepreneurs has been incredibly rewarding, both personally and professionally. In addition, EO has given me access to exceptional learning opportunities that I've been able to extend to my employees; resources and experiences that would not have been available to us otherwise. The value EO has brought to both my leadership and my organization has been tremendous.
