About EO Northeast India

About EO Northeast India

In the lush, culturally rich, and often underestimated landscapes of Northeast India, entrepreneurship is both a challenge and a calling. At EO Northeast India, we are founders who believe in the potential of the region—and are actively building its future. From Guwahati to Imphal, Shillong to Aizawl, our chapter unites leaders who are rooted in their communities and reaching toward global growth. Our members work across a broad spectrum of industries: logistics, hospitality, education, agriculture, infrastructure, manufacturing, tourism, IT, and social enterprise. Some are introducing innovation to traditional markets; others are pioneering ventures that reflect the region’s growing digital and infrastructural connectivity. What binds us is the belief that transformation can happen anywhere—with the right mindset, leadership, and support. EO Northeast India is a space for connection in a region where entrepreneurship can often feel isolated. Our forums offer trust, perspective, and genuine support—where founders reflect deeply on their personal and professional journeys. Our learning events are curated to offer strategic insight while honoring local nuance, whether it’s a leadership workshop by the Brahmaputra or a retreat in the Khasi Hills. Doing business here requires creativity, patience, and resilience. The opportunities are immense—but so are the logistical, political, and infrastructural challenges. EO Northeast India helps entrepreneurs stay grounded while thinking expansively, providing a peer community that shares wisdom, celebrates wins, and supports through uncertainty. We are also a chapter deeply committed to impact. Many of our members are engaged in education, sustainable development, artisan empowerment, and rural innovation. For us, growth is meaningful only when it uplifts the region we love. At EO Northeast India, we lead with intention, grow with grit, and believe that some of the most exciting ventures are being built far from the spotlight—right here, in the heart of the hills.
