About EO Setouchi

About EO Setouchi

Stretching along the calm, island-dotted waters of the Seto Inland Sea, Setouchi is a region known for quiet beauty, resilience, and rich tradition. At EO Setouchi, we are entrepreneurs who honor that heritage while building businesses that are bold, future-ready, and deeply rooted in purpose. Our members represent industries that have long shaped this region—manufacturing, shipping, textiles, food production, and construction—as well as emerging sectors like sustainable tourism, healthcare, education, and technology. Some of us lead family businesses passed down through generations; others are forging entirely new paths with startups inspired by local needs and global ambition. What connects us is a deep pride in where we come from—and a commitment to creating what’s next. EO Setouchi is where entrepreneurial legacy meets modern evolution. Our confidential forums are spaces of trust, where founders reflect on challenges, growth, and leadership with honesty and support. Our learning events draw inspiration from the natural surroundings and cultural depth of our region—offering perspective and practical wisdom through immersive, locally grounded experiences. Running a business in Setouchi means balancing precision with creativity, tradition with disruption. The pace is thoughtful, but the opportunity is real. EO Setouchi helps founders think strategically, act decisively, and lead with integrity—whether scaling across Japan or strengthening regional roots. We’re also deeply invested in community. Our members support local artisans, heritage preservation, and initiatives that promote sustainable living and regional revitalization. Business here isn’t just about success—it’s about stewardship and long-term impact. At EO Setouchi, we grow with intention, lead with humility, and build companies that reflect the quiet strength, craftsmanship, and promise of one of Japan’s most beautiful and inspiring regions.

"EO provides an environment for you to work on yourself through the help of others. Without EO, I would not be the leader I am today nor have the perspective I have today."
