About EO Sri Lanka

About EO Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a land of striking contrast—ancient temples and bustling cities, lush landscapes and digital transformation. Amid this complexity, a bold generation of entrepreneurs is rising, determined to build companies that reflect both the country’s heritage and its future. At EO Sri Lanka, we are founders committed to leading with resilience, vision, and a deep sense of responsibility. Our members span a range of industries—technology, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, construction, fashion, agriculture, and professional services. Some are pioneering new ventures in Sri Lanka’s expanding innovation economy; others are guiding family-owned businesses through periods of modernization and scale. What brings us together is our shared belief that entrepreneurship is a powerful force for national growth and social change. EO Sri Lanka is a space for connection and clarity. Our confidential forums create a trusted environment for reflection, accountability, and growth. Whether navigating political uncertainty, succession planning, or rapid scale, members find perspective in the support of peers who understand the unique challenges of leading in Sri Lanka. Our learning events bring global thinking into local context—offering inspiration and strategy while staying grounded in what it means to build in an evolving economy. Through EO, our members gain access not just to regional insights, but to a global network of entrepreneurs with shared values and fresh perspectives. We’re also deeply invested in impact. Many of our members mentor youth, support social enterprises, and contribute to rebuilding efforts across the country. In a time of change, we see entrepreneurship as a stabilizing force—one that builds livelihoods, strengthens communities, and fosters long-term hope. At EO Sri Lanka, we grow with courage, lead with intention, and build businesses that reflect the resilience, spirit, and promise of our island nation.

As Financial Practitioner with a focus on Tax Advisory and Virtual CFO services, I believe that continuous development is a key feature to thrive in a still very male dominant industry. EO is an organisation that has added tremendously to my entrepreneurial journey. As a woman, it is hard to find a place, group or an organization that helps us learn and grow and EO has bridged that gap for me. To all the trailblazing women out there on this women’s day, I hope you find a community in which you can learn and grow and do what scares you, whilst always being yourself. Wishing a fabulous Women’s Day to all the phenomenal and unstoppable women changing the world!
