About EO Surat

About EO Surat

Surat is a city built by entrepreneurs. Known globally for its diamond trade and textile industry, it has long been a hub of hustle, precision, and vision. But today’s Surat is more than a manufacturing powerhouse—it’s a city of transformation, where new-generation founders are building tech-savvy, socially conscious, and globally competitive businesses. At EO Surat, we are those founders. Our members lead ventures in diamond polishing, fashion exports, construction, renewable energy, tech, logistics, healthcare, and beyond. Some are scaling digital platforms from within traditional industries; others are redefining family businesses with innovation at the core. No matter the path, we all carry forward Surat’s spirit of reinvention, resilience, and relentless growth. EO Surat is a space where founders step out of daily execution and into strategic reflection. Our confidential forums offer real, honest dialogue on scaling challenges, leadership development, and personal evolution. We support one another through transitions—be it expansion, succession, or recalibration. Our chapter’s learning events are crafted to blend local legacy with global thinking. Whether we’re exploring supply chain innovation, leadership psychology, or digital transformation, we engage with topics that sharpen our edge and broaden our vision. Business in Surat is fast, precise, and highly networked. EO Surat helps entrepreneurs stay grounded amid rapid growth—offering not only a peer group that understands the pace but also the structure and accountability to grow intentionally. We are also deeply tied to community. Many of our members lead philanthropic efforts in education, health, and disaster relief. Giving back isn’t an afterthought—it’s part of our DNA. At EO Surat, we grow with purpose, lead with legacy, and build companies that carry forward the entrepreneurial heartbeat of one of India’s most dynamic cities.

Testimonial 1 - Ankur Jain ( Founding President ) EO Surat. Managing Director, Eminent Group ( Surat) Being the Founding President of EO Surat has been one of the most integral and enriching chapters of my life. The opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and lead the chapter in its very first year taught me invaluable lessons in leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and bringing people together. From building the board to organizing meetings and creating the foundation of the chapter, every experience was a learning. Most importantly, EO has always been a safe and welcoming space for me—a place where I could learn, grow, contribute, and be myself. EO Surat has truly been one of the best things to happen to me, and I believe it has also been something special for our city. I only hope that the journey and values we have created continue to make a meaningful impact on every member of EO Surat. Thank you.

When we helped establish EO Surat three years ago, the goal was to build a community where regional business leaders could exchange raw, authentic experiences without pretense. Today, EO Surat stands out because of its exceptional culture of trust, peer-to-peer learning, and world-class events. > For me personally, the Forum experience has provided a rare space to open up on critical personal and professional matters, driving meaningful self-reflection. Professionally, it bridges local expertise with global perspective, giving us access to a network of driven, visionary entrepreneurs around the world. Being part of this movement isn't just about expanding a business network—it is about elevating how we lead, innovate, and contribute to our city's dynamic future." > — Pintu Dholakia, CEO, Hari Krishna Group (a diamond jewellery company)

Kanishk Agarwal (Founding Board Member - EO Surat) “I joined EO with a lot of excitement and absolutely no idea what I was signing up for!” Four years later, I can confidently say that joining EO and especially taking up a board role has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Being part of different roles over the years has pushed me well outside my comfort zone, taught me things I probably wouldn’t have learnt otherwise, and, more importantly, introduced me to some incredible people. What I really value about EO is that it doesn’t just give you a community. The various platforms, experiences and products constantly push you to question yourself, think differently and unlock potential you didn’t know you had. And then there are the people. EO has been there for me through some of my toughest phases, when I needed perspective, support or sometimes just someone to tell me that I wasn’t the only one going through it. I joined EO thinking I was joining an organisation. I didn’t realise I was signing up for a journey of learning, friendships, uncomfortable conversations, a few laughs and a lot of personal growth. Four years in, I’m still figuring it out. But I’m very glad I’m doing it with EO.
