About EO Taipei

About EO Taipei

Taipei is where tradition meets tech, where night markets buzz alongside cutting-edge startups, and where entrepreneurs grow businesses with global ambition and local soul. At EO Taipei, we are founders who thrive in this rhythm—building ventures that are fast-moving, thoughtful, and uniquely Taiwanese. Our members lead in industries that define Taipei’s evolving landscape: semiconductors, AI, consumer products, manufacturing, fashion, fintech, education, and wellness. Some are pioneering digital solutions in one of Asia’s most connected societies; others are reimagining legacy businesses for a global audience. What unites us is our commitment to innovation, integrity, and sustainable growth. EO Taipei is more than a network—it’s a community of trust. Our confidential forums provide space for candid reflection and strategic support, allowing members to explore the challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship with peers who understand the journey firsthand. Whether it’s succession planning, scaling globally, or leading through uncertainty, founders find clarity through connection. Our chapter’s learning events are dynamic and relevant—bringing together global insights with local expertise. From leadership development to emerging technologies, EO Taipei members engage with content that’s tailored to their growth, in business and beyond. Running a business in Taipei means leading with both agility and cultural nuance. Taiwan’s global supply chain relevance, skilled workforce, and democratic values offer powerful opportunities—and EO Taipei helps founders navigate them with a blend of strategy, self-awareness, and community support. We’re also a chapter grounded in impact. Many of our members invest in education, environmental sustainability, and mentorship for the next generation of Taiwanese entrepreneurs. Because here, success isn’t just about revenue—it’s about legacy. At EO Taipei, we grow with intention, lead with insight, and build businesses that reflect the innovation, resilience, and heart of Taiwan.

Members Are Talking

In FY25/26, our chapter embraced ‘Continuum Transformation’ as its defining focus, urging members to go bold and beyond while respecting existing systems to unlock new possibilities. Every moment served as a vital learning opportunity, shifting our community toward a culture rooted in servant leadership. This approach mattered deeply to our members, as it fostered an environment where real growth was driven by supporting one another and finding joy in each other’s success. Instead of discarding proven operational models, we introduced a balanced framework that pushed boundaries safely within established structures. A lesser-known detail of this transformation was our intentional focus on challenging moments; rather than brushing friction aside, leadership treated obstacles as real-time learning to build resilience. Ultimately, this journey reshaped how we connect, lead, and grow together; demonstrating that true leadership lies in lifting others up. As one chapter leader powerfully summarized: "Servant leadership is finding the greatest joy in the happiness of others."

Honestly, I really enjoy EO. From Member to Forum to Chapter to Regional, from all kinds of learning events to MyEO and even Discover trips to different countries — it has always felt like a big treasure chest full of learning and exploration. Through this, I’ve gained not only business knowledge but also inspiration on how to become a better person. I feel truly fortunate to be part of it.

It’s the easiest check that I write every year for the past 23 years. In the past five years, I’ve really appreciated the global nature of EO. Being able to be a part of EO Taipei has been incredible. It's the magical connection that the entrepreneurial struggle is a universal human language. More broadly speaking, to walk into a city—anywhere in the world—and share a meal, a laugh, and an immediate, profound understanding with members I’ve never met is to realize that the most successful people carry the same burdens. It's not just networking; it's a global brotherhood forged in shared vulnerability, and that is truly priceless. EO is the rare place where I learned that to be a great leader, you first have to be a deeply self-aware human being.

EO has made me more in touch with my inner feelings and become more willing to show and even share my vulnerabilities. Because of that, I feel like I’m becoming a better and more personable leader, sister, daughter, friend and partner.
