Da Quebrada Pro Mundo ("from da hood to the world") is a social impact EdTech English School. According to research conducted by the British Council, only 5% of the Brazilian population speaks English. However, this study disregarded low-income families and 17,1 million favela residents from all over Brazil were forgotten. Coming from this perspective, Alexandre's tream created their product which already has more than 1400 students, an online English school designed just for favela residents. Their startup's mission is to fight for the inclusion of their people through education, and take them into the job market through the knowledge of the English language.
