Asmaa Fatani

Edkary is a website and smartphone application that provides financial education programs to youths aged 15 to 30. Asmaa founded Edkary to help Arabian youth to fulfill their financial goals through planning, saving, and self-employment. Her biggest challenge has been the lack of programming expertise to develop the smartphone application. However, she has overcome this by training herself: “I started working on myself since my first year in the university. I have gained experience in digital marketing by working in a company named Initiatives in Dubai for 2 months and currently working as a marketing coordinator in Careem KSA”

Asmaa is proud of the self-taught digital marketing skills that have empowered her to create both Edkary and a second startup in the digital marketing industry.
