In two years, Aysha turned her personal hobby into a full-fledged jewelry design company, Aisha Jewels. Her vision is not only to build jewelry but an internationally recognized brand of luxury products out of Bahrain. According to her, such a mega vision equally comes with major challenges which range from age limitations and beating off competitors to balancing student life with entrepreneurship. She believes by the values to boldy go and bet on her own abilities in spite of seemingly insurmountable odds in her society such as age. Her self-confidence enables her to focus on her core competencies which are unique design skills and excellent interpersonal skills. On the qualities that make her an awesome entrepreneur Aysha says, “I think there is something special in convincing my family at the age of 16 that I will not be going abroad to get the degree of my dreams but rather will stay in Bahrain and build a business. I am also proud of having my own jewelry design course at the age of 19 with students, mostly much older than I am, flying over from the region to attend. Finally, it felt really fulfilling to be asked to give a lecture on the challenges of starting up a business to Master Class students in one of the biggest universities in Bahrain.
