Carmen is one of the brains behind La Sangria, a pioneering artisan Sangria brand in the Dominican Republic. As a young entrepreneur, the core value that both describes her personality and business brand is Cool. She makes work fun and energetic so that her clients not only enjoy her product but are able to celebrate the best moments of life together: “We create a product that allows our clients to enjoy good friendships, family unity, and good business, but without losing the smiles on faces with each sip of La Sangria”.

While working to put smiles on the faces of her clients, Carmen considers her biggest obstacle to be expansion. As a growing business, immediate access to funds to cope with mass productions for large-scale contracts is a challenge she currently faces. To overcome this, Carmen and her team have leveraged on the support of family members who believe in her dream. Her three year vision is to progress from her home office to a real manufacturing space, acquire automated machinery, and ultimately, to be recognized as a quality global brand.
