Chido Dzinotyiwei

Chido, and her co-founder Dorcas, started Vambo Academy to create a platform that celebrated, taught, preserved and improved access to Indigenous languages. Vambo Academy currently offers 12 African languages including official South African languages. Vambo Academy is not just striving to be the home of Indigenous language learning and heritage but a platform that creates social and economic impact through the one skill most natives have mastered - their mother tongue. The team at Vambo Academy hope to express their passion for Indigenous languages and knowledge through virtual lessons, the self-learning tool, blogs, podcasts and features to come!
