Jacob Kumpon

Jacob Kumpon founded KLAW Industries to stop landfill encroachment in rural areas from poor material management practices that plaque our waste system. 8.3 million tons of "recycled" glass end up in U.S. landfills each year, and KLAW Industries solves this problem by turning this waste into a partial replacement for cement in concrete called Pantheon™. Pantheon™ increases the strength, lowers the cost, and reduces the embodied carbon of concrete. Jacob has raised $458,000 in non-dilutive funding and is outfitting a pilot plant in New York to scale Pantheon™ across the northeast.
