Leandro Lopes de Azevedo

Leandro developed the venoscope, a low-cost vein locator designed to help healthcare professionals to perform venipuncture, a routine procedure needed for infusion of solutions and medications or blood collection for laboratory analysis, which can often be difficult in patients with obesity, vasculopathy, and diabetes. The device's design was developed for better compatibility with the professional routine of nurses and nursing technicians, being simple to use, lightweight, and the size of a lab coat pocket.
