Luis came up with the purpose of taking care of the garbage in the world under Residuall by developing technologies that make the generation and destination of waste disposal efficient and sustainable. The biggest challenge he and his team have encountered was to change their entire market strategy and business model from a hardware product to software weeks after acquiring angel investment. Though difficult, he is thankful that through this experience, he was able to create a more complete product. He believes that attending university has been the most defining factor in his entrepreneurial journey as his Engineering course exposed him to the field of waste solid management.
