Mingyu and his partner founded DoBeDo with the vision to lead the home recording music market by providing musicians and amateurs a platform to freely produce their own music. What started as two ambitious students’ idea in February 2016 has grown to reach the minimum viable product (MVP) stage with the plan to officially launch in March 2017.

Mingyu says that uncertainty has been his biggest obstacle throughout his entrepreneurial journey: “I feel afraid of uncertain market reaction several times. But it doesn’t help me one bit. I realize perpetual optimism makes me stronger.” In addition to perpetual optimism, Mingyu is authentic to being cool. He believes in incorporating pleasure and fun into his learning experience and achieves this by connecting with new people. This perspective has enabled him to develop friendships with people from diverse industrial backgrounds and provided him fresh insights on developing his business.
