Through Neurostic, Muhammad and his team are creating a system that will improve disease diagnostic methods. What started as an idea at a neurologist visit in November 2014 has become a working team of energetic minds with clinical trials and product development underway. Some of the biggest obstacles Muhammad faces as an entrepreneur are launching an unfamiliar product to the Pakistan market, lack of funds to meet expenses and labor supply:
“Using (Artificial Intelligence) for Medical Diagnosis is a relatively new field in the West. The biggest obstacle we are facing is lack of funds to carry out normal activities of the business and convincing students to work practically for free at a startup in parallel to their studies is a very tough task. However, the level of enthusiasm and commitment my interns have showed in the past 2 months is exemplary and a source for inspiration for me.”
Though the challenges may seem daunting, Muhammad believes that his persistent character is what makes him stand out as an entrepreneur. Asides persistence, Muhammad believes in the importance of life-long learning. He says that learning new things enable him solve problems.
