Ornella’s vision is to reduce food waste and generate 50 new jobs in Chile through Rukai Alimentos Spa, a food recycle business that creates healthy foods from organic plants. Her biggest obstacles have been generating seed capital and beating off criticisms about the potential of her business. Her cool personality reflects in her business approach by enabling her to see problems as opportunities. She likes to learn and tear down myths, and uses her background in science to challenge cultural norms and beliefs.
