Teachers spend the majority of their time outside lessons in evaluation-related tasks (preparing exams, correcting them, handing them to students, transferring marks, generating reports...). That leaves them little room to improve their classes and teaching materials. At Examfy, Pau and his team want to help teachers gain back some of this time, and they started by building an AI driven platform that analyzes and stores exams in the cloud automatically. Teachers just need to scan all the corrected exams in a single document, and their algorithm is able to detect the handwritten text in the files to determine where each exam begins and ends, the name of the student, and the mark. This data is stored in Examfy's platform alongside a copy of the exam and can be synchronized with the school's management software (so teachers don't have to manually type in all the marks) and teachers can select whether they want students and their families to be able to see a copy of their corrected exam online. Pau's team is continuously adding new features, such as the ability to leave comments in an exam, search for a certain string of handwritten text in several exams at the same time, and track a student's progress across time.
