
Sababa’s company, Poripaati, enables urban informal sector women workers to succeed and gain upward social mobility through skill building. In a society where domestic workers are treated as subhumans, Sababa says she wants her online platform to raise awareness about the rights and dignity of the domestic workers as humans. Her biggest challenge has been instilling professionalism into her employees. She overcomes this by taking them through a one-month training that teaches them soft and behavioral skills. What sets her apart as an entrepreneur is her mentality to challenge the existing social structure in her society that marginalizing people from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
