Through Becycled.be, Sam is building an online community for cyclers to buy and sell new or used cycling gear while supporting local businesses. Getting the business started with no coding experience and external funding but much determination prepared him to face new obstacles that showed up down his entrepreneurial journey. “‘Boldly Go! - Bet on your own abilities' is my main game at the moment. I want me and my team to become the best in what we're good at. In fact, I want everyone to bet on their strengths and to pursue their dreams, whatever they may be!” Apart from motivating his team to be the best, Sam channels his competitive energy into sports and is currently an aspiring track cycling sprinter.
