From Local Win to Global Renown
Our Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) competitions invest in student entrepreneurs across 50+ countries. This multi-stage challenge offers opportunities to connect with peers worldwide, culminating in our annual Global Finals.
The Competition Journey
Step 1: Confirm Your Eligibility
To compete, you must be:
- An undergraduate or graduate student
- Owner of a company operating for at least 6 months
- Generating at least US$500 in revenue or US$1,000 in investment
Note: You must be enrolled at the time of application to be eligible.
Step 2: Apply to a Local Competition
Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) chapters host live competitions at local and national levels. If selected, you will present your business at the nearest EO chapter.
Step 3: Advance Through the Levels
Upon winning your local competition, you will either:
- Progress to your country's national competition, or
- Advance directly to the Global Finals as your country's sole representative
Countries with national competitions send multiple students to the Global Finals.
Step 4: Compete in the GSEA Global Finals
Top performers will:
- Compete against the world's best student entrepreneurs
- Connect with an inspiring group of international peers
- Participate in our "Start it Up" mini-series
