17 December 2024 (Alexandria, Virginia, U.S.) – The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) announces five new Directors-Elect to its Global Board for four-year terms, which begin with the 2025-2026 fiscal year. John Harrington (EO Oklahoma City), Prabhakar Kadavasal (EO Chennai), Anthony Ramirez (EO Chicago), Jennifer Rello (EO Orange County), and Khuram Saleem (EO Lahore), will begin their leadership service on 1 July 2025 and will join seven EO peers in leading that body.

EO’s current Global Board voted on the candidates during its November meeting in Puerto Rico and EO’s global community of members ratified their selection earlier this month. Together, the new Directors, with their more than 60 years of collective service across the network, will strengthen EO after having already contributed to the global community’s success at local, regional, and global levels.

“Each of these leaders will bring specific strengths and proven business expertise to our global board, along with deep and diverse EO leadership experience,” said EO Global Board Chair Jamie Pujara, a nine-year member through EO Kenya. “This will help us continue to collaborate at a very high level to further design and align on growth strategies and value creation that will drive our organization forward and serve our members around the world.”

“We want EO to be the front door of entrepreneurship – a welcoming community that helps entrepreneurs achieve their highest aspirations at every stage of their journeys,” said Dave Parker, EO’s Chief Executive Officer and an Ex-Officio Board Director. “Anthony, Jenny, John, Khuram, and PK are the right leaders at the right time to help us deliver on this vision while we charge ahead toward our ambitious 2030 strategic direction.”

These five new Directors have all embarked on a remarkable Path of Leadership locally and globally since joining EO. The incoming Directors, in alphabetical order, are:

  • John Harrington (EO Oklahoma City): An EO member since 2013, John has been Chair of EO’s Global Growth Portfolio since 2023, led oversight of the organization’s Leadership and Training Portfolios, and served on various global standing committees. He is the CEO of Funds For Learning, a leader in K-12 educational technology that bridges the digital divide through innovative technology solutions. The company supports more than 5 million K-12 students across 12,000 schools and library sites across the U.S., securing billions in funding for youth internet access.
  • Prabhakar Kadavasal (EO Chennai): Prabhakar (PK) joined EO in 2010, and is now in his second year as South Asia Regional Chair after leading as an Area Director from 2020-23. A former Member Engagement Chair, PK launched mentorship and personal development systems that many other EO chapters have since adopted. He is the Managing Director of Swathi Organics and Specialties, a zero-pollutant chemical plant. PK is also a Managing Partner for Swathi Builders, a 40-year-old real estate development company in Chennai that has built more than 100 residential communities.
  • Anthony Ramirez (EO Chicago): Anthony, who joined EO Chicago in 2014, is in his second year as U.S. Central Regional Chair. He served as U.S. Central Growth Director from 2020-22 and Chapter President of EO Chicago in 2019-20. A fourth-generation Chicagoan, Anthony founded Lincoln Security Services in 2012 and has 30 years of experience in the contract security industry. His company has five times been named in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately held firms in the United States.
  • Jennifer Rello (EO Orange County): Jennifer serves as EO’s U.S. West Regional Chair. After joining EO in 2013, she quickly took on local leadership roles within her chapter and later went on to serve as EO Orange County’s Chapter President in 2018-2019. Jennifer served as Area Director from 2019-2021, then Finance Director for the U.S. West Region in 2022-2023. Jennifer is the President and Managing Partner of Benefit Associates, a firm specializing in pension and benefits solutions for employers.
  • Khuram Saleem (EO Lahore): Khuram, who joined EO in 2011, currently serves on EO’s Organizational Design team. His EO journey began in the Lahore chapter, where he served as Forum Chair, among several other roles, and was Chapter President in 2016-17. He later served as the MEPA Growth Director, Member Experience Director, and was Regional Chair from 2021-2023. Khuram is CEO and co-owner of the Unze Group, a diversified family business spanning retail footwear, spun concrete manufacturing, hospitality, a nursing college, and a forthcoming sports complex.

Pujara added, “As I near the halfway point of my own chairmanship, I am humbled to see how each of these five new board members has forged their own Paths of Leadership at multiple levels in our network, while balancing the needs of their growing companies. At a time when more people worldwide are looking to business to solve the world’s most pressing problems, I am impressed how all five leaders have served as advocates in their local communities and to causes greater than themselves.”

Beginning in July, EO’s Global Board will comprise 12 Directors – including Parker, who holds an ex-officio position – from seven countries. The five new leaders represent the multicultural and multinational diversity of EO’s global membership across several sectors, including real estate, finance, manufacturing, and technology. Paths to the Global Board begin at the chapter level, and then advance to regional and global opportunities within EO. The new Directors were selected from an applicant pool by the current Global Board and later ratified by EO members.
