As 2025 comes to a close, EO reflects on a year defined by growth, connection, and global impact across its member community. From milestone anniversaries and record-breaking learning participation to new chapters and powerful global gatherings, these 10 moments capture the spirit of EO in action.

As 2025 comes to a close, we celebrate a year of remarkable achievements that strengthened EO’s global member community and amplified the impact of entrepreneurship worldwide. From continuous learning opportunities to welcoming new chapters, this year witnessed the power of connection, growth, and leadership within EO.  

Here are 10 standout moments that captured the spirit of EO in 2025: 

1. EO Accelerator Turned 20 in 2025  

The structured learning program marked a big birthday this year. With programs in 90 EO chapters, EO Accelerator has empowered thousands of early-stageentrepreneurs to expand their business growth goals and broaden their connections. Thanks to all our Accelerator Trainers and past Accelerator participants who ‘graduated’ to EO membership!  

2. EO Surpassed 3,000 Members in South Asia 

EO’s South Asia membership has surpassed 3,000 members, underscoring strong community engagement and value. The region, home to 33 chapters and with a 99% renewal rate, continues to grow through dynamic region-specific events, a Future Leaders program for members’ adult children, and inclusive participation opportunities for Spouses and Life Partners.

3. We Honored our Global EO 'Ohana in Hawai'i

More than 1,600 EO members from 60 countries gathered in Honolulu for our 28th Global Leadership Conference. The 2026 GLC will take place from 15-17 April in Dublin, Ireland. Registration for incoming chapter and regional leaders opens 14 January.   

4. Record-breaking Participation in EO Powerhouse Speakers and Jumpstart Learning Labs

More members enrolled in our free, online learning series this year than ever before. Powerhouse Speakers featured inspiring speakers, including James Clear, Martha Stewart, and Gary Vaynerchuk.  Registration for Jumpstart January is now open.    

5. Qatar Airlines joined EO as global airline partner

We signed the international air carrier as a new EO partner, enabling discounts of up to 18% off fares for members and families.  

6. Four New Executive Education Choices Added for Members

We launched  EO@Oxford Unlocking Strategic Innovation,  and a second offering with Harvard Business School on Navigating Your Business Exit. We also hosted EO’s first Executive Education program in Spanish with INCAE Business School in Panama, as well as the North Asia regionalBridging the Globe Executive Education program in Shanghai with the CKGSB Business School. 

7. A Sold Out EO Women’s Summit 

The 2025 EO Women’s Summit in Montreal brought 120 highly energized women and men together from around the globe for three full days of inspiration and deep connection. It also hosted a first live, interactive watch party with Martha Stewart as an EO Powerhouse Speaker. Registration is open for the 2026 EO Women Summit in Lisbon, Portugal. 

8. 30 Years of EO in Japan

We celebrated the 30th anniversary of EO’s entry into Japan, and welcomed the country as EO’s 11th strategically important and distinctive region for growth. A high-profile launch event brought out dignitaries, partners and hundreds of members. 

9. Six New EO Chapters Added to our Community

Building on our promise to offer the gift of EO to entrepreneurs everywhere, our growth and regional leaders successfully cultivated and launched six new chapters: EO Tokyo East, EO Beyond Japan, EO Greater Bay Area Metropolitan, EO Austria, EO APAC Platinum One Bridge, and EO Uttarakhand. Welcome to EO! 

10. Our Global Student Entrepreneur Awards Champion Won Big $

2025 winner Vienna Sparks, from U.S. East, took home US$50,000 in our annual GSEA competition, thanks to her groundbreaking business and entrepreneurial potential. She went on to win another US$200,000 through the Global Entrepreneurship Network’s (GEN) Entrepreneurship World Cup, an organization where EO has connections. Our GSEA digital video series, Start It Up, attracted more than 10 million collective views on YouTube!
