Alexandria, Virginia, USA (16 July 2026) — The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), a leading organization for entrepreneurs and business owners worldwide, announces the elevation of Taunya Renson-Martin as Global Board Chair and Anthony Ramirez as Global Board Chair-Elect for the 2026/2027 fiscal year, which began 1 July 2026. The two member-leaders will guide the organization’s Global Board alongside eight other Directors from six different countries.
Taunya, a nine-year member of EO through its chapter in Belgium, will serve as the global community’s top leader and representative for approximately 20,000 members who own businesses and drive economic growth in more than 100 countries across six continents.
She served as Global Board Chair-Elect over the past year and will now step into the role of Global Chair. Taunya’s rapid rise from chapter to global leadership in less than 10 years in the organization is the result of her consistently saying “yes” to volunteer opportunities in EO’s Path of Leadership and building strong peer connections across EO’s local, regional, and global communities.
A business founder, trained actor, and mother of two, Taunya becomes the seventh woman, and first African American woman, to lead the global network of business owners that was first established in 1987 as a community by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs.

New EO Global Board Chair Taunya Renson-Martin (EO Belgium)
Taunya leaned into EO opportunities early, serving as communications chair and later as president of EO Belgium in FY2020/2021. Her journey along EO's Path of Leadership continued when she served as Europe Member Experience Director, then as Europe Regional Chair for two terms spanning FY2022/2023 and FY2023/2024. Most recently, she joined EO’s Global Board in 2024 and supported the newly formed Leadership Communications Advisory Council, advancing EO’s strategic vision for the future.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Taunya relocated to Belgium in 2000, where she raised a family and built her business. In 2007, after working for years as a professional actor on stage and screen, she launched Mach Media, A B2B marketing and communications agency serving global corporations across life sciences, chemicals, materials, and the agri-food industries.
An EO member since 2018, Taunya’s career spans more than two decades advising global leaders, guiding executive teams through complex transformations, and designing strategic communication plans that fuel organizational change and unlock their potential. Her commitment to inclusive communication helps organizations build authentic, human-centered connections that strengthen trust and engagement.
“I am honored to serve as EO’s Global Board Chair. This opportunity is both humbling and exhilarating, because it allows me to give back to an organization that has shaped me profoundly as a leader,” Taunya says. “What I love about EO is that it is a truly multicultural network where entrepreneurs from every corner of the world come together, share experiences, and support each other to advance their businesses, families, and communities. So, during my term, my goal is simple: to lead with intention, connection, and courage to foster a sense of belonging where every member feels seen and empowered to unlock their full potential. Alongside my fellow EO members, we will continue to move the world forward, building a stronger global network of founders and business owners who make what truly matters possible.”
The New Global Board Chair-Elect
Partnering with Taunya will be fellow board director Anthony Ramirez in a new, elevated role as Global Board Chair-Elect for FY2026/2027. He was selected in a competitive process by his board peers during their June meeting, and his appointment was ratified by the full EO membership in early July.
In July 2027, Taunya will pass the baton to Anthony as EO’s next Global Chair for the fiscal years 2027/2028 and 2028/2029. He will make history as the first leader to serve under EO’s new two-year Global Chair term structure, a change designed to create more year-over-year consistency for the organization as it pursues its 2030 ambitions.

EO Global Board Chair-Elect Anthony Ramirez (EO Chicago)
Anthony joined the organization through EO Chicago in 2014, seeking the community, learning, and shared experiences that come from being part of a global network of entrepreneurs. He quickly became involved in chapter leadership, supporting both Forum and membership initiatives before serving as chapter president in FY2019/2020. As chapter president, his enthusiasm for connection and learning helped inspire a record number of EO Chicago members to participate in EO XCentric, the U.S. Central region’s signature learning and connection event.
His leadership journey continued as U.S. Central Growth Director from FY2020/2022, followed by two years as Regional Chair of EO U.S. Central from FY2023-2025. In those roles, he helped support one of EO’s largest regions, serving more than 20 chapters and thousands of members across the mid-United States. In July 2025, Anthony was elected to the EO Global Board of Directors, where he now helps guide the future of the organization at the highest level.
“EO has given me far more than a network — it has given me lifelong friendships, new perspectives, and a community that has challenged me to become a better entrepreneur and leader,” Anthony says. “I am deeply honored by the trust my fellow Board Directors have placed in me, and I look forward to partnering with Taunya, our Global Board, professional staff, and member leaders around the world as we continue creating extraordinary value for entrepreneurs and help lead EO into its next era of impact.”
A business owner since 2012, Anthony founded Lincoln Security Services after more than three decades in the security industry. What began as an entrepreneurial leap has grown into one of the leading contract security firms in the United States. Under his leadership, Lincoln Security Services has provided security planning and operations for some of the largest public and private facilities in the country — as well as some of the nation’s largest events.
Along with EO’s Global Board and more than 300 volunteer member leaders serving the organization across geographic regions and global practice areas, Taunya and Anthony will partner with professional staff to drive the organization’s 2030 Strategic Direction forward. That will include ongoing efforts to create even more value for EO members and their business executives and families, and to increase annual renewal rates to 95 percent by 2030.
"I am excited to work alongside Taunya and Anthony as we continue building momentum and advancing toward the goals outlined in our strategic direction,” says Jamie Pujara, EO Executive Director and a 12-year member through EO Kenya. “Their leadership, experience, and deep commitment to our members make them invaluable partners. Together, we will focus on strengthening the value we deliver to our members, expanding opportunities for connection and growth, and ensuring EO remains the world's most impactful community for entrepreneurs."
Together, Taunya and Anthony reflect the experience, diversity, and entrepreneurial servant leader spirit of EO’s global membership. Its community of members belong to the global network through one or more of its 226 active chapters worldwide. To join, entrepreneurs must own businesses with at least US$1 million in annual revenue or own significant investment in larger companies.
