Forum Trainers support the growth and health of Forums across EO by delivering official training programs. They help members understand the purpose of Forum, its core principles, and how meetings are structured to create a safe, confidential, and meaningful experience. Forum Trainers are certified through EO and play an important role in maintaining consistency across chapters and regions. Their work helps ensure that Forums operate with clarity, integrity, and shared understanding worldwide.

What Forum Trainers Do

Forum Trainers support Forum across multiple levels of the EO experience. Their work includes:

  • Delivering Forum Training Programs for members, SLPs, and Key Executives
  • Supporting Moderators and Forums through workshops and training sessions
  • Coordinating with chapter leaders to prepare and deliver trainings
  • Managing logistics such as participant registration and materials
  • Sharing Forum resources to support chapter growth and health

Certification Process

Becoming a Forum Trainer involves a structured certification process:

  • Submit an application and short training videos
  • Participate in an interview process
  • Complete preparation work and training sessions
  • Attend the Forum Facilitator Certification Program
  • Pass a written exam
  • Deliver trainings under observation

Certification is based on demonstrated knowledge, facilitation skill, and alignment with EO standards.

Time Commitment

Forum Trainer is a long-term role that includes both initial certification and ongoing involvement.

Expectations include:

  • Participation in certification training and observed sessions
  • Ongoing development through calls and training events
  • Regular delivery of Forum Trainings throughout the year
  • Maintain certification through ongoing training and participation in development programs
  • Availability to travel for in-person trainings when needed

Financial Commitment and Compensation

Forum Trainer candidates are responsible for certain certification-related expenses, including registration and travel.

After certification:

Trainers are compensated for each completed Forum Training
Compensation is provided per training delivered
